Drew Carney joined KGW in September of 2006.
He’s an anchor on KGW News at Sunrise, adding entertaining & community-minded reports to our weekday morning show.
Drew's TV career began more than 20 years ago while attending Temple University in Philadelphia.
He started as a sports anchor/reporter with jobs at the NBC stations in Abilene, Texas and Johnstown, Pennsylvania before moving here to Portland in October of 2000.
The same year he joined KGW in 2006, he also married a born-and-raised Oregonian. They live in Clackamas County with their twin sons & a dog named Blaze.
