PORTLAND, Oregon — Low clouds over much of the valley early this morning, keeping most cities at 40 degrees and warmer. Portland will likely see afternoon sunshine and highs in the 50s, but parts of the mid and south valley may get stuck under low clouds with highs trapped in the 40s.
East winds will ensure sunshine across the region Friday with warming temperatures nearing 60 degrees.

Rain returns Saturday and will be steady Saturday evening as a cold front arrives. Showers decrease and end on Sunday as sunbreaks take over.
All dry next Monday, followed by a little bit of rain Tuesday night and Wednesday.
